Winnie, Nellie and Jessie were strong Northern women who loved to travel, work and nest. They were also my Granny and her two sisters. They're pictured here with their big sister Evelyn who sadly died before I was born.
Winnie was a headmistress who travelled to India with her work and brought back the most amazing collection of saris and fabrics.
Nellie was a trained corsetiere who ran her own drapers and fancy goods shop.
Jessie loved her home interiors - she lived for a time at Gas House on Gas Street in Oldham, but renamed it The Residence.
Three wonderful women, one lasting legacy; to source and curate the most beautiful eclectic, heirloom interiors, to be cherished and enjoyed for generations.
